This IHQ Retrofit Website Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and disclose information and data when you interact with our website concerning the retrofit of Self-Realization Fellowship’s International Headquarters (the “IHQ Retrofit Site”) found at SRFretrofit.org. If you visit any other of Self-Realization Fellowship (“SRF,” “we” or “us”) website, use any SRF mobile application or interact with SRF in any other way than through the IHQ Retrofit Site, then our General Privacy Policy controls.

1. Managing Your Information Preferences
You can opt-out of receiving our newsletter and certain e-mails and updates from us by using the “unsubscribe” link in the emails. You are able to opt out of receiving most e-mails from us; however, you cannot opt out of receiving all e-mails from us, such as e-mails about the status of your account. Personal Information
If you choose to provide your information, we will collect information that personally identifies you, such as your name, address, phone number, and e-mail address. Additionally, if you correspond with SRF or submit inquiries via the IHQ Retrofit Site, we may retain such correspondence and the information contained therein. We refer to such information as Personal Information.

Usage Data; Cookies and Online Identifiers
We may automatically collect certain information about your device and your use of our IHQ Retrofit Site, and about your interaction with emails from us. We may use cookies, pixel tags, javascript and other technologies to collect this information, and we may use third parties to collect this information on our behalf: to record your activity on the IHQ Retrofit Site including your mouse movements and clicks and information you enter into forms; your browser type and operating system; web pages and content you view; links you click; your IP address, device identifiers, and other persistent identifiers including cookie identifiers and identifiers we may assign to you; the length of time you visit our IHQ Retrofit Site; and the referring URL, or the webpage that led you to our IHQ Retrofit Site, and approximate (at the level of a city) geolocation information (“Usage Data”). We, and third parties acting on our behalf, may collect similar Usage Data when you open emails from us or click on links in our emails.

We, and the third parties who act on our behalf, use this information for analytics purposes, to monitor and improve the IHQ Retrofit Site, understand how people interact with our emails, enhance your online experience, so that SRF may contact you about services that might be of interest to you, and to enable us to provide you with an easier and more personalized experience and level of service. We may be able to track your activity across our different websites and services.

Thus, we use Google Analytics on the IHQ Retrofit Site to collect Usage Data and to analyze how users use the IHQ Retrofit Site. Our email service provider Constant Contact also collects Usage Data when you interact with our emails. We and our website provider Wix set cookies and may collect Usage Data for security purposes, authentication purposes (to keep track of the fact that you have created an account or logged in), and for certain functionality of the IHQ Retrofit Site.

Additionally, as further explained below in the section titled “Online Tracking”, we may use third parties to enhance the functionality of our IHQ Retrofit Site, and these third parties may set cookies and collect Usage Data. For example, we may post video content provided by YouTube or Vimeo, and we may host online audio or video meetings or communications using third parties such as Zoom. These and other third parties may set cookies and collect Usage Data, and may track your browsing activity over time and across different websites, and may use this information for marketing purposes.

3. How We Use Information and When We May Share and Disclose Information
We use Personal Information and Usage Data, alone or in combination with other information that we may collect about you, to provide you information and updates about our International Headquarters retrofit project, to collect and analyze feedback, and to otherwise communicate with you about SRF and our retrofit project. We may share Personal Information with affiliated organizations, and our volunteers may have access to such information to assist us in fulfilling our purposes. We will not disclose Personal Information to third parties, including for their direct marketing or commercial purposes, without your consent, except as explained in this Privacy Policy.

Service Providers
We share Personal Information with our authorized service providers that perform certain services on our behalf (“Service Providers”). For example, we may contract with Service Providers to provide certain services, such as to host our website, for maintenance of the site, data storage and management, and sending emails and newsletters. We only provide our Service Providers with the information necessary for them to perform these services on our behalf. Each Service Provider must agree to use reasonable security procedures and practices, appropriate to the nature of the information involved, in order to protect your Personal Information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. Service Providers are prohibited from using Personal Information other than as specified by us.

Online Tracking
We use third parties to enhance the functionality of our Sites. The third parties we use may set cookies and collect certain information when you visit the Sites and Services. These companies may collect Usage Data, your IP Address, information from cookies they set during your visits to the Sites and other websites, and other information (e.g., click stream information, web browser type and other information about your browser or computer operating system, time and date, and the pages or videos you viewed). These companies may track your activity over time and across different websites, and may use the information they collect to provide advertisements about goods and services likely to be of interest to you. Our systems do not recognize browser “Do Not Track” signals, but several of the third parties who utilize these cookies on our Sites enable you to opt out of targeted advertising practices. Compliance with Laws and Law Enforcement
We cooperate with government and law enforcement officials and private parties to enforce and comply with the law. We may disclose Personal Information and any other information about you to government or law enforcement officials or private parties if, in our discretion, we believe it is necessary or appropriate in order to respond to legal requests (including court orders and subpoenas), to protect the safety, property, or rights of SRF or of any third party, to prevent or stop any illegal, unethical, or legally actionable activity, or to comply with the law.

We do not share your Personal Information with third parties for their direct marketing purposes.

5. Security
We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect the confidentiality and security of information transmitted to us. However, no data transmission over the Internet or other network can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, and we cannot and do not guarantee the security of any information you transmit to or through us or the IHQ Retrofit Site, and accept no liability for any unintentional disclosure or misuse.

Our IHQ Retrofit Site may contain links to other websites or allow others to send you such links. A link to a third party’s website does not mean that we endorse it or that we are affiliated with it. We do not exercise control over third-party websites. You access such third-party websites or content at your own risk. 7. Children’s Privacy
The IHQ Retrofit Site is intended for users who are 13 years old or older. We do not knowingly or intentionally collect Personal Information from children under the age of 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently received Personal Information from a child under the age of 13, we will delete such information from our records.

8. Processing in the United States
SRF is located in the United States. Please be aware that when you visit our IHQ Retrofit Site, provide your Personal Information, or communicate with us, you are transferring your Personal Information to the United States. Thus, your Personal Information and communications may be transferred to and maintained on servers or databases located outside your state, province, or country. And if you are located outside of the United States, we process and store all information in the United States. The laws in the United States may not be as protective of your privacy as those in your location. By using the IHQ Retrofit Site, you are agreeing to the collection, use, transfer, and disclosure of your Personal Information and communications will be governed by the applicable laws in the United States.
